🔴 Condition - Good 🔴

Withnail and I is an uproariously funny look at life at the end of the '60s. Withnail (Grant) the actor is a mess, despite his erudition and undeniable charm, and his flatmate and friend Marwood (McGann) is no better off. To escape their horrifyingly funny poverty — and the unusual matter coagulating in their sink — the two make a break for a cottage in the country, owned by Withnail's eccentric and perverse uncle Monty, played to perfection by Richard Griffiths. What should be a relaxing stay in the cleanliness of nature quickly becomes a maddening plunge into even more alcohol and paranoia, with the two struggling to hold on to their lives, wits and friendship amidst the comic insanity.
