To save his job, he arranges for his arch-nemesis Casanova Frankenstein (Geoffery Rush) to be released from the insane asylum he had him committed to 20 years earlier. This backfires and Casanova takes Captain Amazing hostage, planning to rule Champion City with his new super weapon. The only ones that can possible save him and the city are the Mystery Men, super heroes that just aren't all that super, but are determined non-the-less to use their mediocre powers, such as anger, flatulence, fork throwing, shoveling, bowling, philosophising and maybe invisiblity to save the day, the city and their self respect. \u003cbr\u003eThe cast is amazing: William H.
