Conceived, born and reared amongst the Lime Bluffs, Doreen McGrath grew up an individualist with a natural affinity for the craggy lime outcrops.
For the past 20 years she has conducted a store, and of later years a Post Office, beside the road to Chillagoe, where the limestone bluffs she originated form, are now a famous tourist atraaction as are the Chillagoe Caves.
