Based on the musical stage hit, The Rocky Horror Picture Show combines comedy, horror, science fiction, and an unmistakable rock-n-roll score in an uninhibited look at sexuality and all things taboo. Branded a flop on its initial cinema release, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has become a huge cult classic in the 25 years since it's debut. The movie opens with our two all American characters, Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) taking a drive to see Dr Everett V. Scott (Jonathan Adams) who first introduced them, to let him know they have just gotten engaged. After being caught and lost in the rain, their only help is an old mansion and this is where the fun begins. They are greeted by Riff Raff (Richard O'Brien, he wrote the original Rocky Horror musical play) and plunged into Frank-N-Furter's camp world of transsexuals, from the galaxy Transylvania. At this party he reveals his latest invention, Rocky a statuesque blonde designed specifically to be Frank's boy toy. Brad and Janet are swept up into Frank's decadent lifestyle, and learn a lot more about life, and themselves, than they ever imagined.
